This year’s MAMA Awards were full of unexpected incidents.
G-Dragon directly addressed a moment during his live performance that didn’t go as planned. At the 2025 MAMA Awards held in Hong Kong, G-Dragon performed “DRAMA,” “Heartbreaker,” and “Untitled, 2014,” wearing an all-black outfit and a black ribbon to honor the victims of the Hong Kong tragedy. However, his voice wasn’t audible during the high-pitched sections, and his voice occasionally stopped, leaving only the pre-recorded music and vocals playing in the background. Afterward, G-Dragon showed his disappointment by leaving a thumbs-down emoji on the “Heartbreaker” performance video posted on MAMA’s official social media.
According to his agency, G-Dragon found out about the tragic apartment fire in Hong Kong after preparing for his “DRAMA” and “Heartbreaker” performances. His team explained that he had to change his setlist at the last minute, adding “Untitled, 2014” to the mix. Immediately after the performance, G-Dragon donated 1 million Hong Kong dollars to the Hong Kong Tai Po Wong Fook Court Support Fund to assist the victims and their families.

Another incident took place during ALLDAY PROJECT member Tarzzan’s performance . Tarzzan did a solo dance and backflip during his “FAMOUS” stage, but a drone camera filming the performance suddenly crashed. The broadcast quickly switched to a camera showing the audience, and Tarzzan’s solo performance wasn’t aired. Fans were disappointed after seeing footage of his acrobatic moves that never made it to the screen.

His agency, JYP Entertainment, confirmed the injury via Stray Kids ‘ official social media, saying, “Lee Know injured his ankle during a performance on November 29th and received local treatment. He received an examination after returning and treatment at a hospital.” The exam revealed an ankle sprain, and Lee Know will receive treatment and rest while recovering.
