Netflix’s new Korean superhero series, Cashero , is officially a global hit.
The show has recorded 3.8 million views since its release on December 26th, securing the No. 2 spot on the Netflix Global Top 10 Series (Non-English) chart. It has also entered the Top 10 list in 37 countries, including South Korea, Brazil, Indonesia, and Saudi Arabia.
Cashero offers a fresh twist on the genre. It tells the story of Sang Woong (played by Junho ), an ordinary salaryman struggling with rent and wedding funds. He gains superpowers that increase in strength proportional to the amount of cash he physically holds—meaning he literally has to spend his own money to save the world.
