Netflix’s Culinary Class Wars is creating a huge sensation.

Episodes 8 to 10 of Culinary Class Wars was unveiled on October 1st, featuring the exciting round with a convenience store food mission. The chefs got creative, transforming everyday convenience store food into impressive dishes. The next challenge was the TOP 8 showdown, where black and white spoon chefs teamed up for a restaurant mission. The TOP 8 chefs are Jung Ji Sun, Edward Lee, Jang Ho Jun, Choi Hyun Seok, Auntie Omakase #1, Cooking Maniac, Napoli Mafia, and Triple Star.

After another thrilling round, the semi-final part 1, called “Cook Your Life,” had the chefs pour their personal stories into their dishes, creating powerful, heartfelt plates. One chef won and moved on to the finals, but the next challenge, the second semi-final round dubbed “Endless Cooking Hell,” promises to push the chefs even further.

Culinary Class War has topped Netflix’s Global Top 10 TV (Non-English) list for two weeks in a row since its release on September 17th. According to the Netflix Top 10 website on October 2nd, the show racked up 4.9 million views (based on total viewing hours divided by the runtime) from September 23rd to 29th. It hit #1 in four countries—South Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, and Hong Kong—and ranked in the Top 10 across 28 countries. The intense second semi-final and the grand finale will air in episodes 11-12 on October 8th.
