Dear Hyeri delivered the happy ending everyone had hoped for.
Nielsen Korea reported on October 30th that the final episode of the ENA drama garnered a nationwide viewership rating of 3.3%.
In the finale, Jeon Jae Yong (Yoon Ju Man) pushes Jung Hyun Oh ( Lee Jin Wook ) out of the way of an oncoming car. Shocked, Hyun Oh immediately calls for an ambulance, and Jae Yong is rushed to the ICU. Meanwhile, Chief So (Kim Dong Gyun), director of the PPS broadcasting network, pleads with Hyun Oh to take over the 9 PM news anchor position, as Jae Yong is unable to do so due to his injury. However, Hyun Oh is still shaken and declines the offer.
