Did WINNER’s Mino “decide” to have social anxiety?
According to officials from the Mapo Community Welfare Facility, Mino’s medical leave was reportedly due to social anxiety, panic disorder and bipolar disorder. A public service personnel administrator told Dispatch, “Song Mino is afraid of crowded places,” explaining that “he was assigned to a position where he wouldn’t attract attention.”
However, photos obtained by Dispatch tell a different story. Mino was seen traveling to places like Goseong and Yangyang in Gangwon Province, enjoying camping trips and parties. In August 2023, he attended a DJ party at a popular café in Goseong while still working as part of the Mapo Facility Management Corporation’s parking business team.
His activities appeared far from reclusive. Throughout his service, he maintained long hair, often wore shorts and was seen shirtless at events. His tattoos were also on display: “Right Posture” on his left shoulder blade, “Clear Mind” on his right and “PLAY BOY” tattooed on his waist.
