The cast of tvN’s weekend drama Law and the City is saying goodbye. Ahead of the August 10th finale, stars Lee Jong Suk , Mun Ka Young , Kang You Seok, Ryu Hye Young, and Lim Seong Jae shared heartfelt messages with fans.
Lee Jong Suk, who played ninth-year associate Ahn Joo Hyung, said, “Being part of the five made it possible for me to make it through the end and was an incredible stroke of luck. It truly was a special and unforgettable moment,” adding, “I’ve lived as Ahn Joo Hyung for the past six months, but now that his story has ended, I’ll be greeting you more often as actor Lee Jong Suk.”
Mun Ka Young, who portrayed attorney Kang Hee Ji, expressed her gratitude: “Thank you for all the love and support. I hope there are days when the five of us come to your mind, even faintly, and I’m cheering on everyone who made it through today.”

Kang You Seok, who took on the role of Jo Chang Won, said, “Thank you to everyone who loved the drama. I especially remember the moments I spent constantly thinking about how to portray Chang Won as best I could,” continuing, “I believe the passion and hard work of the cast, director, writer, and every staff member made this a great one. Thank you for all the love.”
Ryu Hye Young, who played attorney Bae Moon Jung, shared, “I’m so grateful and proud to have created perfect harmony with such great friends and the best staff. Through Moon Jung, I think my affection for people has grown deeper. I sincerely cheer for all the Moon Jungs out there in the world.”
Finally, Lim Seong Jae, who played Ha Sang Ki, expressed, “Even in the sweltering heat, I took the words ‘It’s warm and nice’ as the highest compliment during this last month. Our ‘associates’ will take off our coats now and meet you again in new roles.”
