G-Dragon and former After School member Lee Joo Yeon are back in the headlines as dating rumors between the two reignite.
On the 27th, a post titled “Looks like G-Dragon and Lee Ju Yeon are dating” appeared on an online community. The post claimed that Lee Ju Yeon’s recent Instagram Story showed a background nearly identical to G-Dragon’s recently revealed home, and even pointed out that the cat wearing a scarf in her photo matched one of G-Dragon’s beloved pets.
The pair have long been linked by dating rumors, starting in 2017 when photos of them allegedly at the same locations surfaced. At the time, both stars shut down the speculation, insisting they were “just close friends.”
In January 2018, reports emerged claiming G-Dragon and Ju Yeon were dating, frequently visiting each other’s homes, and even taking a trip together to Jeju Island. In May 2019, dating rumors flared up again when Ju Yeon posted a video on Instagram showing her sitting with G-Dragon.
While the latest online chatter has reignited buzz about G-Dragon and Ju Yeon, neither side has issued an official comment yet.
Meanwhile, some fans are pushing back against the frenzy, saying, “They’re both adults and have every right to date freely,” and, “Fans are overstepping by prying into their private lives.”
