TWICE’s Jihyo, Jeongyeon and Chaeyoung made a fierce transformation into Huntrix at the Lollapalooza music festival, captivating the global audience with a powerful live performance.
On August 3rd (local time), TWICE took the stage at Lollapalooza Chicago, held at Grant Park in Illinois—the largest music festival in the U.S. Opening with “The Feels,” the group went on to perform a total of 21 songs, including mega-hits like “MORE & MORE,” “What is Love?”, “Alcohol-Free,” “FANCY,” and “Feel Special,” igniting the crowd from start to finish.
But the moment that truly stole the spotlight was the performance of “Takedown” by Jihyo, Jeongyeon, and Chaeyoung. The track, originally released on June 20th, comes from the Netflix animated film KPop Demon Hunters and is performed by the fictional girl group Huntrix, featuring characters Lumi, Mira, and Zoi—voiced by the TWICE members themselves.

KPop Demon Hunters is an action-fantasy film that follows the dazzling girl group Huntrix, who moonlight as secret protectors of the world behind their glamorous pop careers. The film has remained at No. 1 on global streaming charts since release, and even broke into the Billboard 200 at No. 8—making it the highest-charting OST album released this year.
On July 28th, the animation’s track “Golden” climbed to No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100, up two spots from the previous week, marking a new personal best. The song’s explosive success has sparked a wave of covers by fellow artists, including Mamamoo’s Solar, Jeong Eun Ji, and IVE’s Ahn Yujin in Korea.
So when Jihyo, Jeongyeon, and Chaeyoung—the original performers—delivered “Takedown” live on the Lollapalooza stage, global fans had their eyes glued. It was more than just a live stage—it was Huntrix come to life.
