Ju Haknyeon once again spoke out to express his frustration after being removed from the K-pop group THE BOYZ and his agency, One Hundred Label, last Wednesday amid controversy over his private life.

Ju released a third official statement on his social media on June 22nd. “I was the first to learn that photos had been taken before the agency even received an inquiry from the Japanese magazine Shūkan Bunshun. I immediately informed the agency of the situation and asked for help,” he wrote.

While acknowledging his own wrongdoings, Ju stated that he had tried to minimize harm to the group and its members. However, the agency unilaterally terminated his exclusive contract and demanded over 2 billion won (approximately $1.45 million USD) in penalties, pressuring him to sign a settlement agreement. When he refused, the agency abruptly announced his departure the very next day.
