Jun Ji Hyun recently revealed a more vulnerable side in a short interview on Harper’s Bazaar Korea’s official YouTube channel, posted on August 7th.
Speaking about her current interests, Jun shared, “Whenever I have time, I look at a wide range of projects to spark new ideas,” she said. “And I make it a priority to stay in shape through consistent workouts.”
Despite her strong on-screen presence, Jun admitted that she, too, grapples with self-doubt. “I may look confident all the time, but honestly, there are many moments when my confidence wavers,” she confessed. “Whenever that happens, I remind myself that confidence isn’t a fixed trait—it shifts and grows with life. I try to restore that balance by focusing on my inner strength.”
When asked about her personal sense of style, Jun emphasized ease and authenticity. “Rather than chasing trends or specific brands, I prefer styles that feel natural and comfortable—something that reflects who I really am,” she explained.
Meanwhile, Jun Ji Hyun is gearing up for the release of her new Disney Plus original series Tempest , premiering September 10th. She stars as Moon Ju, a former UN ambassador drawn into a high-stakes conspiracy after a presidential candidate is attacked. She’s joined by Kang Dong Won, who plays San Ho, a mysterious special agent tasked with protecting her.
Tempest marks the first on-screen collaboration between Jun Ji Hyun and Kang Dong Won, already generating buzz globally.
