Jung Hae In recently responded to rumors about a potential romance with his Love Next Door co-star, Jung So Min , during a promotional interview for his upcoming film Veteran 2 , aka I, the Executioner .
Jung Hae In explained, “There’s only a one-year age difference between us, and since our characters are childhood friends, I felt that if we didn’t get comfortable with each other, it would show on screen. We all made an effort to get close before shooting began. Neither of us is very outgoing, but when introverts bond, there’s a certain vibe. It’s true that we’ve gotten really comfortable with each other, and that helped us portray that childhood friend dynamic.”
When asked about fans who hope they’re dating, Jung Hae In responded, “I guess it’s because our chemistry is that good.” He added, “People say you can even see it in the behind-the-scenes clips. There’s some promotional content where our chemistry seems strong, which is probably why people are saying that. But really, the chemistry on set was just that great.”
Meanwhile, Jung Hae In is set to return to the big screen with I, the Executioner . This action-packed crime thriller follows veteran detective Seo Do Cheol (Hwang Jung Min) as he teams up with rookie detective Park Seon Woo (Jung Hae In) to track down a notorious serial killer.

Jung Hae In and Jung So Min are heading to Bali together.
The two actors will be departing for Bali on August 24th for a photo shoot for a fashion magazine.
Jung Hae In and Jung So Min are currently starring in tvN’s Love Next Door together. They will be traveling overseas together for the photoshoot, just a week before the drama ends.
With Love Next Door achieving ratings in the 4-6% range and the drama’s somewhat lukewarm popularity, it’s unusual in the industry for the actors to be taking on a special photoshoot schedule overseas, even if it’s not a reward vacation.
Due to this, suspicions are circulating in the industry that the two may be dating. One industry insider stated, “It’s common to schedule joint events to promote a project before its first broadcast, but it’s very rare to shoot a photoshoot overseas near the end of the drama.
