On the October 9th episode of tvN’s You Quiz on the Block , Jung Hae In appeared as a guest, opening up about the struggles he faced at the height of his career.
Host Yoo Jae Suk referred to Something in the Rain as a turning point in Jung Hae In’s life, and the actor expressed gratitude for the show’s success. “I was 31, and I was really lucky. Son Ye Jin helped me a lot, and so did director Ahn Pan Seok. Being cast in that drama felt like a miracle,” Jung Hae In said.
The actor also shared how deeply this affected him. “I started questioning my existence—’Who am I? What’s the point of living?’ There was a period when I didn’t leave the house at all, living like a recluse. I even developed panic disorder. I was scared to meet people,” he confessed.
