Kim Go Eun is teaming up with Kang Dong Won , star writer Park Ji Eun and acclaimed director Kim Won Seok for a new high-profile drama titled Soul (working title).
Kim Go Eun has officially joined the cast of the highly anticipated series that’s already generating major buzz in the industry, according to an exclusive report from Xports News on July 21st.
The project brings together a powerhouse creative team. Writer Park Ji Eun is known for hit dramas such as My Love from the Star , The Producers , Crash Landing on You and Queen of Tears . Directing the series is Kim Won Seok, the visionary behind critically acclaimed shows like Misaeng , Signal , My Mister and When Life Gives You Tangerines . The drama is said to blend historical elements with romance, raising expectations for a sweeping and emotional narrative.
Kang Dong Won was previously announced as the male lead, and the addition of Kim Go Eun as the female lead makes this an even more star-studded lineup.
Kim Go Eun has a packed year ahead. She’s set to appear in two Netflix series, You and Everything Else and The Price of Confession, both slated for release in the second half of 2025. She’s also confirmed to reprise her role in Yumi’s Cells Season 3 , coming to TVING next year.
