Kim Hye Soo is set to star in Adultery Is Not The Problem Here (working title), a new original thriller series for the streaming service Coupang Play. The project brings together some of the biggest names in the Korean entertainment industry, including the creators of Squid Game and A Killer Paradox .
The series is already turning heads thanks to its powerhouse production team. It’s a new project from Firstman Studio, founded by the Squid Game series director Hwang Dong Hyuk. The show will be directed by Lee Chang Hee, who has become a master of the thriller genre with his hit series Hell Is Other People and A Killer Paradox .
While plot details are being kept under wraps, the series is described as a thriller about a wife who witnesses an unexpected and dangerous incident while tracking her husband’s infidelity.
With Kim Hye Soo now attached to lead, anticipation for the drama is incredibly high. The project is part of Coupang Play’s ongoing push into high-quality original content, following other recent releases like UDT: Our Neighborhood Commando. Filming is expected to begin as soon as the full cast is finalized.
