Kim Hye Yoon recently opened up about her experience filming kissing scenes with Byeon Woo Seok in the hit drama Lovely Runner . During an interview at a café in Gangnam, Seoul, she shared her thoughts on the series, which concluded on May 28th.
Reflecting on her on-screen romance with Byeon Woo Seok, Kim Hye Yoon said, “The connection felt more like camaraderie than romantic excitement. We really leaned on each other during tough times.”
The actress then recounted her nerves while shooting their intimate scenes. “This was my first time having so many love scenes in a project. I was very nervous (about the kiss scenes), but the director gave detailed guidance, which helped make them look beautiful. But I still can’t bring myself to watch them on TV because it’s so embarrassing,” she admitted.
Kim Hye Yoon praised Byeon Woo Seok’s professionalism during their scenes together. “I was embarrassed and nervous, but he stayed focused and kept asking the director for guidance. With the encouragement of the director and the staff, we managed to pull off the scene,” she explained.
