The family of the late actress Kim Sae Ron announced a press conference today to address allegations involving actor Kim Soo Hyun .
Attorney Bu Ji Seok from Buyou Law Firm, representing the family, stated that the press conference will be held at 2 PM in Seoul. He noted, “We will reveal details during the conference, including evidence of serious criminal allegations and an underage relationship.”
In March, Kim Sae Ron’s family alleged she had been in a relationship with Kim Soo Hyun when she was a minor.
In response, Kim Soo Hyun held an emergency press conference on March 31st, vehemently denying the claims. He accused the family of releasing manipulated evidence through a YouTube channel and vowed to pursue robust legal action.
Kim’s legal team has since filed a lawsuit against the family and YouTuber Kim Se Ui, who helped spread the allegations, seeking approximately 12 billion KRW ($8.4 million) in damages. Additionally, Kim Se Ui faces charges for violating the Anti-Stalking Act, and a court has issued a temporary restraining order prohibiting further stalking behavior toward Kim Soo Hyun.
