South Korean drama Queen of Tears is taking the world by storm.

According to streaming tracker FlixPatrol, the show has cracked the Top 10 on Netflix’s global rankings in a whopping 68 countries, including the United States, Canada, Japan, Australia, India, Greece, Türkiye, Saudi Arabia, Brazil, Mexico, and Argentina.

The series has also been dominating Netflix’s “Global Top 10 TV Shows” list in Asian countries like Japan, Taiwan, the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, and Malaysia, topping the chart in Japan for two consecutive weeks.

Major overseas media outlets are taking notice. Real Sound, a prominent Japanese entertainment media outlet, hailed the show on March 23rd as the leader of a “5th Korean Wave,” citing the captivating love story between stars Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Ji Won . The Straits Times, a powerhouse newspaper in Southeast Asia, also praised the show’s “dynamic plot” and “superb acting,” calling it a series that’s “worth your time.”

The show also dominated Good Data Cooperation’s TV rankings for the third consecutive week in March, topping 15 different categories on their official platform FUNDex’s TV rankings.
