Kim Yoo Jung and Cho Yeo Jeong are in talks to star together in a new movie.
The highly anticipated new film from award-winning director Hong Eui Jeong. An exclusive report from OSEN on October 1st revealed the potential powerhouse pairing.
Tentatively titled Vengeful (Korean title: Boksugwi ), this is the next project from director Hong Eui Jeong, who made a splash on the Korean film awards circuit with his critically acclaimed 2020 debut feature, Voice of Silence . The film earned him Best Director at the Baeksang Arts Awards and Best New Director at the Blue Dragon Film Awards.
The film was originally set to be a reunion for the director and his Voice of Silence star, Yoo Ah In. However, those plans were scrapped after Yoo’s career was derailed by a major illegal drug use scandal.
With casting now underway again, the potential addition of Cho Yeo Jeong and Kim Yoo Jung is generating significant buzz. Sources report that both actresses are “positively reviewing” their offers and are leaning toward accepting the roles.
Anticipation is now soaring for the explosive chemistry that the two powerhouse actresses could bring to the screen together.
