Lee Min Woo, a member of legendary K-pop group Shinhwa, is set to walk down the aisle—and step into fatherhood at the same time.

On August 6th, SPOTVNews reported that the 46-year-old singer will marry a third-generation Japanese-Korean woman currently living in Japan. The couple is expecting their first child together, and Lee’s fiancée is already a single mom raising a 6-year-old daughter. Sources say Lee, who is marrying for the first time, has embraced her daughter as his own.

An insider confirmed, “All details will be revealed through KBS’s Mr. House Husband Season 2 , so please tune in to the broadcast.”

Lee first shared the news with fans on July 25th via a handwritten letter on Instagram. “I’ve always had a vague dream of starting a family with someone who could be my rock,” he wrote. “Over time, I realized I shared the same heart with someone I’ve known for a long while, and we decided to become one family.”

The romance will play out on Mr. House Husband , with a teaser already showing Lee cheerfully announcing, “I’m getting married.” He described his bride-to-be by recalling their first meeting: “She spoke Korean so fluently that I asked, ‘Are you Korean?’ and she said, ‘Yes, I am.’” Soon, he slipped into Japanese mid-conversation with his fiancé, saying, “Moshi moshi.”

Born in 1979, Lee debuted with Shinhwa in 1998 and will be the fourth member to marry, following Eric, Jun Jin, and Andy.
