Lee Se Young is set to star opposite breakout actor Choo Young Woo in the upcoming series Long Vacation , a warm romantic fantasy that is currently in talks for release on Netflix.
The drama follows Demon No. 3375 (Choo Young Woo), who travels to a seaside town on a reward vacation, where he meets human woman Lee Deul Pan (Lee Se Young). Their unlikely romance forces him to confront his identity as a demon while awakening beautiful, human emotions that ultimately conquer his resistance.
Long Vacation brings together some of Korea’s biggest creative names. Director Lee Jung Hyo—known for Crash Landing on You , Romance Is a Bonus Book and Doona! —helms the series, with writing by Jung Hyun Jung, the hitmaker behind the I Need Romance series, Romance Is a Bonus Book and Lovestruck in the City .
Lee Se Young will play Lee Deul Pan, a candid and optimistic hotel room attendant who becomes the demon’s love interest. With Choo already confirmed as the male lead, the series is set to deliver a mix of heartfelt romance and fantasy charm.
This marks Lee’s first drama choice since joining agency Fantagio earlier this month, home to stars like Cha Eun Woo and Kim Seon Ho. She had previously spent a decade with Prain TPC.
In recent years, Lee Se Young has headlined hits such as The Red Sleeve and The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract . She also starred in What Comes After Love and this year’s Motel California , showcasing her signature nuanced performances. She will next be seen in Disney Plus’ upcoming period romance The Remarried Empress .
