Lee Si Young is keeping a low profile after deleting the social media post in which she revealed she’s pregnant with her second child .
On July 8th, the actress shared on Instagram that she is currently expecting. She explained that she decided to move forward with an embryo transfer using one that had been created through IVF during her marriage after her divorce earlier this year.
She wrote, “My ex-husband did not agree to this decision, but I’ve chosen to carry the full responsibility myself. I’ll make sure they never feel a lack of anything, even if I raise this child alone.”
Her agency later confirmed the pregnancy to Korean media outlet OSEN, stating that the father is indeed her ex-husband. However, they asked the public to refrain from speculating or commenting further on her private life.
The revelation that she proceeded with the IVF transfer without her ex-husband’s consent quickly became a hot topic online, sparking debate over legal and ethical issues such as embryo ownership, parental rights, and custody responsibilities.
