Min Hee Jin , the former CEO of ADOR and current head of OOAK Records , addressed an alleged smear campaign against her.
Min revealed on social media on January 19th that she recently held a meeting in Seoul with a lawyer currently handling the TAG PR lawsuit in the United States. TAG PR is a public relations firm previously acquired by HYBE America, which has been accused of running organized smear campaigns.
“Had a chance to meet in Seoul with a lawyer who’s currently handling lawsuits in the U.S. to uncover what TAG PR has really been up to,” Min wrote. “Hearing directly how artists in the U.S. are responding was super helpful.”
She ended the post with a cryptic message, writing, “Pieces are starting to come together. More Soon.”
Did Former HYBE PR Firm Run Anti-Min Hee Jin Website? US Lawsuit Cites Evidence
The Backstory
Min first raised suspicions about TAG PR last year during an appearance on YTN Radio. She claimed that a reporter from Billboard contacted her to verify bizarre information contained in a “strange flyer” they had received before the public dispute began.
“When I asked where they received it, they said ‘from TAG PR,’ which surprised me,” Min recounted. “I was also surprised when my name later appeared in a U.S. lawsuit related to a Hollywood actor involving the same firm.”
Potential U.S. Lawsuit Against HYBE?
Min has argued that circumstantial evidence points to HYBE’s involvement, noting that HYBE America owned TAG PR during the period in question.
“Although some might call it a one-sided claim… The timing matches,” she stated. “I have actually received many suggestions to look into a lawsuit in the U.S. I even heard from a lawyer who advised that HYBE’s headquarters could eventually be sued in a U.S. court.”
