Netflix has unveiled the main poster and trailer for its upcoming Korean action film Mantis , set to premiere globally on September 26th.
The film follows “Mantis,” an A-list contract killer returning from a long break, as he clashes with his trainee-turned-rival Jae Yi and legendary retired assassin Dok Go in a brutal fight for dominance in a lawless industry.
The newly released poster captures the tense dynamic among Han Wool (Yim Si Wan), his longtime friend and rival Jae Yi (Park Gyu Young), and his former mentor Dok Go (Jo Woo Jin). Against the backdrop of MK ENT., the contract killing syndicate where the three once trained, the image teases a complex mix of friendship, rivalry, and loyalty.

The trailer highlights the film’s stylish, rhythm-driven action sequences while setting up the deadly triangle between the three assassins. Han Wool, once celebrated for his natural talent, returns from vacation only to find MK ENT. in crisis. Teaming up with his rival Jae Yi, he decides to strike out on his own and build a company to surpass the syndicate.
Meanwhile, Dok Go steps in to claim the vacant top spot at MK ENT., warning Han Wool: “I won’t allow Shin Jae Yi. She’s a lot like me.” As Jae Yi joins “Mantis Company,” the rivalry intensifies, with her snapping, “Do I need to report everything to you?” and Han Wool firing back, “It’s because I’m your boss. I’m above you.”
Adding further tension is Benjamin (Choi Hyun Wook), an investor and CEO of a gaming company, who stirs the pot by provoking Jae Yi: “Why still work for him? With those skills.”
Packed with signature weapons, sleek choreography, and pulse-pounding set pieces, Mantis promises to deliver a fresh take on the assassin genre while spotlighting the charged chemistry among its leads.
Mantis premieres September 26th, exclusively on Netflix.
