Disney Plus has successfully announced its original series Nine Puzzles , after teasing viewers with a chilling mood and eye-catching photos for this psychological thriller.

Starring Kim Da Mi and Son Suk Ku , the episodes are suspense-driven and tell the story of Ena (Kim Da Mi), a criminal profiler who was the sole witness to an unsolved case from a decade ago. Now, Han Saem (Son Suk Ku), a persistent detective who continues to suspect her involvement, begins investigating a renewed string of serial killings connected to mysterious puzzle pieces side by side. Although his suspicions of Ena are high, can Han Saem begin to soften his opinion as more answers to the mysteries are revealed?

The exciting series not only features a wonderful line up, with fan favorite Son Suk Ku stealing the spotlight, but also has a riveting storyline that has viewers sucked into the screen. It makes for quite an easy binge. What can viewers expect from the plot? As episode one establishes the unsolved case from 10 years ago, the secret of the serial murder case resumes after a mysterious puzzle piece was recently discovered by Ena stirred up heated responses from the detectives involved in a string of recent serial murder cases.

What does Ena have to do with this fragmented mystery? She became a suspect after witnessing the murder of her uncle Yoon Dong Hoon (Ji Jin Hee) 10 years ago. However, she lost her memory of the incident at the time and became an investigative profiler in order to help regain her memory of the day by receiving constant counseling from her psychiatrist. Despite her efforts, Han Saem still suspects her as a suspect, tracking her every move. Alongside the Han River Seobu Powerful Team, they launch a full-fledged investigation to uncover the truth.

After launching the investigation, Ena recalls there was a criminal at the scene of the incident, amplifying questions about who the real culprit was and what the truth behind the puzzle is. Despite Han Saem’s constant badgering, Ena doesn’t back down and even takes over his some, claiming, “This is going to be the base camp,” as she stakes her foot in his personal space so he can keep an eye on her and she can continue solving the case. The tension-filled atmosphere between Ena and Han Saem, who has doubts and is unwillingly cooperating, is well portrayed by Son Suk Ku, and the actors draw viewers into the thought-provoking story of Nine Puzzles .
