Rowoon ’s military enlistment has been delayed.
On July 17th, FNC Entertainment confirmed to Xports News that his enlistment had been postponed. “The reason for the re-examination involves personal medical information, so we ask for your understanding as we cannot disclose further details,” the agency stated.
According to an official update posted on the agency’s website, Rowoon received a Grade 7 classification during his recent physical exam, conducted by the Military Manpower Administration as part of the standard enlistment process for all eligible individuals. Grade 7 typically requires a re-examination due to inconclusive results.
FNC added, “Rowoon immediately submitted an appeal and is scheduled for a follow-up physical in early August.” The agency further explained that he is hoping to resolve the issue and fulfill his military duty as an active-duty soldier as soon as possible.
Rowoon had originally been scheduled to enlist on July 21st, beginning with basic training before being assigned to his military unit.
Rowoon debuted in 2016 as a member of the K-pop group SF9 and has since built a successful acting career. He’s known for his performances in Extraordinary You , She Would Never Know , The King’s Affection , Destined With You and The Matchmakers .

Rowoon will be fulfilling his mandatory military service as an active-duty soldier in the Korean Army.
FNC Entertainment confirmed the news to Dispatch on May 28th, stating, “Rowoon will enlist on July 21st.”
He is set to undergo five weeks of basic military training before being assigned to his permanent unit, where he will officially begin his service. No special events or public send-offs are planned.
Before his enlistment, Rowoon will meet with fans one last time at his upcoming fan meeting, Before Blooming, which takes place on May 31st. He’s expected to personally share the news and say goodbye to fans at the event.
Rowoon’s scheduled discharge date is January 20th, 2027.
