Scarlett Johansson is about to spill some serious Hollywood tea when she sits down in one of Korea’s favorite talk shows.
In a sneak peek of the July 9th episode of tvN’s You Quiz on the Block , Johansson sits down with Korea’s comedy duo Yoo Jae Seok and Cho Sae Ho for some delightfully candid conversation that ranges from hilarious Hollywood horror stories to surprisingly vulnerable moments.
When Yoo asked whether Hollywood crews also hold wrap parties like in Korea, the Avengers star nodded. “Yeah, we have a wrap party,” she said. “It’ll be like dinner or at a bar.” That’s when Cho chimed in to ask the real question: “But who picks up the tab?”
With a laugh, Johansson spilled an interesting story: “The other day, we had a party in London after the premiere. All of the cast team, a lot of people came from the production. Everybody had many drinks, lots of food and everything. At the end of the night, everybody was like, ‘Bye. Great to see you.’ And I was there alone and I thought, ‘Who’s paying the bill?’ She pointed to herself with a grin: “They left me with the bill.”
The candid moment had the hosts cracking up—but things also got introspective when Yoo asked about her past comment on feeling anxious despite her 30-year career. “What makes you feel that way?” he asked.
Johansson didn’t hold back: “Everything—I mean, just about everything. There’s so many things to be anxious about. Every time I start a job—I don’t know why—I get anxious. Like this film ‘Jurassic,’ for the first two weeks, I had an existential crisis. II didn’t know if I was the right person for the job, I didn’t know if what I was doing was consistent. I get anxious all the time.”
