Wheesung was found dead at his home today.
Wheesung was discovered in his apartment in Seoul at around 6:20 PM on March 10th, according to police and fire authorities. Emergency responders were dispatched after receiving a report from his family.
Authorities believe he had been deceased for a significant amount of time before being found. They are currently investigating the exact cause of death, considering possibilities such as a drug overdose or suicide. The police stated, “So far, no signs of forced entry or criminal activity have been found,” adding that they are looking into whether he left a note and other circumstances surrounding his death.
Wheesung was scheduled to hold a joint concert titled The Story with singer KCM at EXCO Auditorium in Daegu on March 15, making the news even more heartbreaking. On March 6th, he posted a photo on social media with the caption, “I’m off the diet! Looking forward to seeing you on the 15th!”
