The school violence scandal surrounding Song Ha Yoon is intensifying as SBS’s investigative program Curious Stories Y announced it will delve into the allegations in its upcoming episode.

In a preview for the show, a man who filed a massive $7.5 million lawsuit against the actress gave an interview, claiming, “She was a devil. She would say, ‘Hey, I won’t hit you,’ and then hit again. There wasn’t a single word of apology.” Another accuser described their injuries, saying, “It was about a three-week injury, I think.” The preview also showed producers attempting to interview Song Ha Yoon’s legal team, who declined to comment.

This development follows new testimonies from the actress’s former high school classmates. While Song Ha Yoon has publicly stated she transferred schools to “better focus on an acting career,” her former classmates dispute this.

On September 2nd, one former classmate claimed on a popular YouTube channel, “Everyone at school knew she transferred because of that incident. Later, when she became an actress, we used to say, ‘If her past bullying comes out, it’ll be a huge problem.’ We hoped she would just admit it and apologize, but instead, she showed no remorse.”

The scandal first surfaced in April last year when an accuser alleged on the program Chief Inspector that he had been a victim of her bullying. Song Ha Yoon’s agency immediately denied the claim, calling it “groundless” and stating she had “never even met” the accuser.

Her legal team has since filed a criminal complaint against the accuser for defamation and obstruction of business, later adding blackmail charges. In response, the accuser—who had been living abroad—returned to Korea to file a $7.4 million countersuit.
