JTBC has released the first photos for its upcoming romance drama, My Youth , starring Song Joong Ki and Chun Woo Hee .
The new series, which premieres on September 5th, tells the poignant story of two first loves who reunite as adults.

The newly released photos give a glimpse into the past, with actors Nam Da Reum and Jeon So Young playing the teenage versions of the leads. The images capture a sweet, heart-fluttering beachside confession, showing how the hardworking Sun Woo Hae and the rule-following Sung Je Yeon first fell in love at nineteen.
However, the photos of the adult Sun Woo Hae (Song Joong Ki) and Sung Je Yeon (Chun Woo Hee) tell a different story. When they meet again years later, the atmosphere is more awkward than joyful, with a hint of sadness in their eyes as forgotten memories seem to resurface.
Song Joong Ki described Sung Je Yeon as a “savior” for his character. “She is the one who pulled the deeply hidden Sun Woo Hae out into the world,” he said, adding that he and Chun Woo Hee “communicated openly” on set, which made filming “comfortable and reassuring.”
Chun Woo Hee described their characters’ relationship as a “memory box” that, when opened, “instantly takes you back to that time.” She praised her co-star, saying, “It was comfortable from the start… It was a pleasant set where we were very considerate of each other,” raising anticipation for their on-screen synergy.
My Youth is set to premiere on September 5 at 8:50 PM KST on JTBC.
