For the first time in history, the MLB 2024 regular season opener in Korea turned Gocheok Sky Dome into a constellation of stars. Notably, the event drew baseball legends from Korea and Japan, alongside a roster of entertainment luminaries, marking a grand kickoff to the season.
Leading the charge was Park Chan Ho, Korea’s first Major Leaguer and special advisor to the San Diego Padres, in half-Dodgers and half-Padres shirt. He delivered an electrifying opening pitch to the roar of fans.

Adding to the spectacle, G-Dragon was spotted blushing with a smile as his song echoed through the stadium, later joining Park in the VIP seats for a game that had social media buzzing. Ryu Hyun Jin, who made a celebrated return to Hanwha from the MLB, was seen reuniting with his former Dodgers manager, Dave Roberts.
