The special collaboration artist who will sing the Korean OST for the film Snow White has been revealed. It’s none other than actress and singer Suzy .
Suzy breathes new life into the main soundtrack “Waiting on a Wish,” and her red-cloaked appearance in the music video teaser dropped on the 10th has already set social media ablaze.
Disney has previously showcased various collaborations including Taeyeon for Frozen 2 , AKMU’s Suhyun for Mulan , Danielle for The Little Mermaid , and An Yujin for Wish . For Snow White , Suzy has taken up the baton.
At the filming location, Suzy shared her thoughts : “‘Snow White’ is a magical story that changes the world through a good heart and courage. I hope that everyone can feel the emotion I felt while singing ‘Waiting on a Wish’ together with their loved ones.”
The teaser featuring Suzy’s voice is receiving heated responses since its release. Fan reactions are pouring in: “A voice like a nightingale, with a kind and good heart, she’s the embodiment of Snow White,” “Wow, this is really good, her voice fits so well,” “So beautiful… Even her voice tone is so Disney-like,” and “Disney and Suzy match so well, Suzy is Snow White herself.”
The full version of “Waiting on a Wish” sung by Suzy and its music video will be released on the 19th, along with the film’s premiere.
