The 29th Busan International Film Festival kicked off its opening ceremony on October 2nd.
Held at the outdoor stage of the Busan Cinema Center in the Haeundae district, the event drew a packed crowd of 4,500, including film industry figures and fans alike.

The red carpet was graced by stars from the invited films, including Song Joong Ki , Kang Dong Won , Park Jung Min , Ji Chang Wook , Cha Seung Won, Lee Jun Hyuk, Lee Dong Hwi, Kim Gyu Ri, Lim Sung Jae, Kim Min Ha, Choi Hee Seo, Joo Hyun Young, Yutaka Matsushige, Kwon Yuri and more. Big names like Lee Jung Jae were also in attendance, drawing attention from local and international audiences. The ceremony was hosted by Ahn Jae Hong and Park Bo Young and honored the late Lee Sun Kyun with the Korean Cinema Award.
