Sunwoo, a member of the K-pop group THE BOYZ, has come under fire for a remark he made about fellow member Juyeon’s recent dating rumors. Following backlash from fans, Sunwoo issued a public apology.
Sunwoo posted a message on a fan communication platform on June 10th that read, “Don’t feed the clowns and come play Rummikub.” Many interpreted the comment as a dismissive reference to the dating rumors surrounding Juyeon.

Both parties’ agencies denied the rumors, calling them “completely untrue.” However, Sunwoo’s response to the situation sparked criticism, with many fans feeling their concerns were being mocked. In response, Sunwoo later issued an apology, stating: “I spoke and played around too carelessly without fully understanding the situation. I imagine this made you feel even more upset. I sincerely apologize.”
What began as a single incident has now grown into a broader controversy. Online communities and fan forums have seen a rise in allegations involving other members of THE BOYZ. One viral post accused Juyeon of previously being linked to several public figures, including Kim Minju, Roh Yoon Seo and most recently Shin Si Ah. The post also alleged that members of the group were frequently seen at clubs in Seoul’s Gangnam district.
