With news breaking that Tiffany Young and Byun Yo Han are dating with marriage in mind, remarks the two actors made in separate interviews last year are drawing fresh attention.
Back in June, Tiffany Young opened up during an interview for the Disney Plus series Uncle Samsik about filming a kiss scene with Byun Yo Han. Laughing, she described him as “such a fiery person,” adding, “I tried to absorb as much of that energy as I could. At first, I was honestly a little scared.” She went on to say that working alongside him pushed her to match that intensity. “It created moments I never could have imagined, and that made me really proud,” she said.
Uncle Samsik also marked Tiffany Young’s first on-screen kiss. “I do not have a lot of acting experience, and it was my very first kiss scene, so I was extremely nervous,” she recalled. “It was intense and fascinating. The balance between passion and focus felt just right.” She added that the packed shooting schedule meant they carefully moved from one take to the next. “It was basically an action scene,” she joked. “Because of his beard, my lips were swollen by the end.”
Byun Yo Han, meanwhile, spoke candidly in an October interview following the finale of the MBC series Black Out . Asked whether he had ever experienced a “fiery” kind of love, he replied with a smile, “I have loved acting and my dog very passionately.” When the topic turned to marriage, he said, “When the time comes, it will happen. I believe in letting things unfold naturally.”
The two actors, who are three years apart in age, reportedly grew close after working together on Uncle Samsik , with their professional relationship eventually turning romantic. They are also said to share the same faith, and news of their relationship has been met with an outpouring of congratulations and support from fans.

Fans were surprised to see another set of celebrities making wedding announcements for 2026. Byun Yo Han and Girls’ Generation member Tiffany Young are set to become husband and wife.
According to entertainment industry sources on December 13th, the couple plans to hold their wedding next fall. They reportedly developed a romantic relationship after the Disney Plus original series Uncle Samsik , which premiered in May 2024, and are now tying the knot after approximately one and a half years of dating.
Despite their demanding schedules, the pair continued their relationship with mutual consideration. It is understood that they decided to marry based on deep trust.
The couple first met on the set of ‘Uncle Samsik,’ and Byun Yo Han and Tiffany Young previously showcased passionate romantic acting, including a kiss scene, which demonstrated their chemistry in the series.
At the time, Tiffany Young commented on her acting and connection with Byun Yo Han, stating, “I was a huge fan of actor Byun Yo Han, and on set, he was like a unicorn. He’s such a passionate person that I learned a lot from by absorbing as much of his energy as possible.” Byun Yo Han also shared, “Tiffany Young acted as my English teacher. I relied on her a lot on set.”
Meanwhile, Byun Yo Han debuted in a short film in 2011 and has consistently expanded his acting spectrum. He has established himself as a trusted actor, transitioning between television and film with works such as Cold Eyes, Mr. Sunshine , and Hansan: Rising Dragon. Furthermore, he is set to appear in the upcoming film Tazza: The Song of Beelzebub, where he will collaborate with actor Roh Jae Won .
Tiffany Young debuted in 2007 as a member of Girls’ Generation under SM Entertainment, leaving behind numerous hit songs including “Gee,” “Kissing You,” “Oh!,” and “Lion Heart.” She is also the first Girls’ Generation member to marry.
