Coupang Play’s hit series What Comes After Love has wrapped up with overwhelming acclaim, setting new standards for K-romance dramas and captivating audiences both in Korea and worldwide.
Even after the finale, What Comes After Love continues to dominate, with viewer numbers surging by 783% compared to its debut week, securing the top spot on Coupang Play’s charts for weeks. The series has amassed a stellar rating of 4.5 stars and around 100,000 reviews. On Naver Open Talk (the open chatroom), it has surpassed 1 billion “likes,” achieving the highest number in the entertainment category.

Critics have praised the series, with Hong Jong Seon from Dailyan describing it as “like autumn rain softening this harsh season, gently comforting hearts weary from life’s struggles.” Kim Chae Yeon of OSEN shared, “It’s a drama I imagine rewatching naturally on some winter’s day,” while Ha Ji Won from Newsen highlighted its “sensory storytelling through thoughtful restraint, paired with the strong performances of the leads, delivering a well-crafted classic melodrama.”
