The mystery surrounding who Kwon Yul secretly married in May has been solved. On September 9th, reports confirmed that his new wife is Hwang Ji Mi, the non-celebrity younger sister of actress Hwang Seung Eon.
The couple tied the knot in a private ceremony on May 24th at a church in Seoul. They kept their relationship and wedding preparations completely under wraps, with only family and close friends in attendance.
While Hwang Ji Mi is not a celebrity, she briefly captured public attention nine years ago when she appeared with her famous sister on the show Follow Me 7 .

The two posed for a joint photoshoot, during which staff praised the sisters’ stunning looks, calling them “beauties like twins” and noting Hwang Ji Mi’s resemblance to Chinese actress Liu Yifei.

Meanwhile, Kwon Yul made his acting debut in the 2002 film Birthday and has appeared in numerous works, including the films Beastie Boys , The Admiral: Roaring Currents , Anarchist from Colony , and the dramas Monster , Let’s Eat 2 , Voice 2 and No, Thank You.
