The closing chapter saw Lee Heon (Lee Chae Min) battle back against Prince Jesan (Choi Gwi Hwa), who staged a coup after Heon was dethroned. In the end, the rebellion’s conspirators led by Jesan and Heon’s consort Kang Mok Ju (Kang Hanna)—met a brutal downfall, but the chaos left its mark.
